How To - Managing Rooms

Managing Rooms Explained

The Manage Rooms tab in the Tables admin 2 allows you to create and configure the different dining areas or "rooms" within your establishment.

Key features of the Manage Rooms tab include:

  • Creating room names to represent the various dining spaces, such as "Main Dining Room", "Patio", "Private Dining Room", etc.

  • Uploading floor plan images or diagrams to visually represent the layout and setup of each room

  • Editing room details like the name, image, or deleting the room entirely as needed

  • Associating the defined rooms with the table assignments and reservations made by hosts

This allows you to accurately map out their physical dining spaces within the software, so hosts can properly assign reservations to the appropriate room when booking customers. The visual floor plans also help hosts and managers visualise table availability and seating arrangements for each distinct dining area.
